Description
You've been sent to a distant planet to research artifacts that were pulled from a meteor landing on Earth, (this is in an alternate dimension to the original Half-Life games but you're still part of Black Mesa Research Facility.)
Your team pin points the artifacts to have come from ancient ruins on said planet.
After 8 years of researching someone stumbles upon an opening into another world, of course; activating it opens their world to ours now all on the planet are doomed to these new spieces.
You and your friends play as members of the team sent to the planet, you were lucky enough to survive the initial blast caused by the opening of the portal, your main mission is to find the portal and shut it down, with plenty of side objectives.
Additional info
Usual stuff, hoping to have a few interesting boss fights, still takes a lot of testing to get some of it right.
But in the previous version I had a fight with an opening floor which was the only way to destroy the boss, stuff like this keeps it fresh.
Trying to stray from the old Gargantua on tons of health and endless supplies of RPG ammo!
I was also experimenting with the whole life system, where once you fall down into the ruins you activate new spawn points in a room further on, you die you get sent there and the only way out is if your friends make it to the door as well, it'd be fun but i can imagine getting really far in and all dying would be a nightmare.
