Description
This svencoop map made for halloween.╰(▔▽▔)╮
You looking for some candis on Halloween.
But it get you into a little trouble.
Main mission: Getin this horror mansion and collect 7 jars of candy.
Recommended for 2-4 players to playing this map.
also you can pass this map by alone >:D
here is a little game: hide and dodge ,don't let the zombies or ghost find you when lights down.
Players can pick up a lots of candypoints,they are hide in somewhere.

Seems like some spawns aren't enabling/disabling at the correct times, causing players to spawn at areas already completed.

Not exactly what I was expecting, but still enjoyable. I liked the classical music (Hall of The Mountain King) and all the Zdislaw Beksinski artwork.

I personally haven't encountered any sort of bugs or glitches.
Almost got stuck on a few occasions because I died and kept respawning right in front of zombies who would almost instantly kill me, but I eventually managed to get around them.
Otherwise, very fun map! I hope you make more of them :D
We've had a problem in the billard room, The "we found candy" cutscene came up twice and from then on everything wasn't working anymore, the triggers were in a bad condition after that. People would not spawn in the room where you have to hide but above and it would never finish etc. Maybe theres a problem with a trigger wait or something should have been a trigger_once. We were many players so this might have add to the problem.
Other than that and the bit confusing first part with the bones (maybe ripent and add sprites/adamr/arrow_gohere.spr or something) I give the map a solid 5/5.

Ha,I agreed with your proposal about add some glow.spr to the bones.
(I think you'd better not with more than 10 players to play this map)
because in this map that will so crowded.
about the door bug:
there is a multi_manager with targetname= gate_door_mm doing the door sequence. It targets (amongs other things) "gate_door_close#1" it think this should be renamed to "gate_door_open" since there is nothing else named "gate_door_close#1" and nothing is targeting "gate_door_open".
I tried doing this with ripent (BSPedit) and worked out well, now the door opens. If you could fix this with ripent would be nice to avoid the .BSP compatibility issues

My bad judgment.I didn't make "how to open the door" very clearly.
There was a pic about how to pass the firstarea,so you can try it now.
i thought that the door was bugged, seems i was wrong, thanks for telling me this.
The #1 just means that this is instance #1 of that targetname, within that multi manager. This is how you can trigger the same target multiple times in one multi manager.
Can't play the map without noclipping through the first door. It doesn't opens.
already fixed,new files uploaded.
The map never goes past the first part (to enter the mansion kill monsters first). We killed more than 100 and the door never unlocked. Got bored and quit.
edit: cheated with noclip to get past the first part and I must say the map is very good, specially the library part. Although at the end the monsters from the first part and the ending spawned together doubling the amount of monsters and making it impossible.

sorry about that..I like Simple, but when I design this forest, I was thinking, is that too easy?
I never thought that will seriously impact the player's experience,especially in maps beginning.

oh I see! I understand now, the idea is nice, its better than just "kill this and continue", but without the pic you uploaded it is difficult to understand what to do.
I would say yes, it would be good to make some clues on to what to do, with text or something else so people understand what they have to do :) I read above about some glow, you could use that to know wher to go next: glow sprites :)
