Hello, I'd like to raise an issue about certain users, and they know who they are, editing profile pages without permission. I'd like for this to stop, because it is against Wikidot's ToS:
"…any material that collects or contains personal information of other Users for any unlawful purpose or without the User's permission"
While such edits have been harmless in nature, (although I have to stress that there was one occaison where available public data about a user was posted without their acceptance, another ToS violation), it is nonetheless very irritating to have edits be made to your profile page. I think that only site admins should be allowed to have the ability to make edits to profile pages as well has the owner of that profile page.
In my instance someone had a map series linked onto my page under the Conversions section and while this info was correct, I did not want to have it linked there, so I didn't edit the page accordingly- had I wanted for the map to be linked there I would have edited the page myself. Unfortunately it was added and while its not an offense it does feel like a breach of "personal space".
If possible, I want to request a feature to lock your own profile page from edits
Thanks
